Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has achieved freight unloading of 1,152 rakes during May 2024 which is 86 per cent higher than previous year.
In Assam, a total of 645 freight rakes were unloaded, including 331 rakes carrying essential commodities; 248 in West Bengal; 166 in Bihar; 54 in Tripura; 20 in Nagaland; 9 in Arunachal Pradesh; 8 in Mizoram and 2 in Manipur.
