South Central Railway (SCR) has achieved gross originating earnings of Rs 203.39 billion during 2023-24. It also registered passenger revenue of Rs 57.31 billion and passenger traffic of 262.62 million. Further, freight revenue of Rs 136.2 billion was recorded by the zone which is 4.4 per cent higher than last year along with cumulative loading of 141.12 million tonnes (mt). Some other earnings include Rs 5.12 billion in coaching and Rs 4.74 billion in sundry.
